Situated on 14 private acres with trails leading straight to Gem Lake or Lumpy Ridge taking out the necessity of having to drive to a trailhead. Enjoy the picturesque backdrop of Longs Peak, Mt. Meeker, Twin Sisters, and the Continental Divide all while enjoying your favorite beverage while you plan the next days' events. From laying low and having some quiet respite to a full day of traveling through RMNP, hiking, rafting, shopping, horseback riding, etc. how much you pack into your trip is completely up to you and is within 15 minutes of any activity.
Located in the North End of Estes Valley, you will witness countless encounters with wildlife and nature. This 2-story Chalet boasts 2 levels with 2 bedrooms and 1 1/2 bathrooms. On the main level, curl up next to the fire and read or contemplate the day. Just steps away is a casual conversational area suitable for chatting or puzzle building. There is also a closet just off of this area with toys for the kids. The dining seats 6 comfortably and also adds a highchair and booster chair for the youngest of adventurers. The well-appointed kitchen ensures a home-cooked meal is right at your fingertips.
The Chalet offers two decks (one on the main and one upper) to ensure you can fully take in the panoramic views as well as all the wildlife that comes to visit during dusk and dawn.
The upper level has a family game room with a TV and casual, comfortable seating including a sleeper sofa. The main bedroom offers a king size bed with seating area and large closet while the second bedroom has a queen size bed and takes in the morning sun brilliantly. The large bathroom located between the bedrooms is perfectly situated with double sinks, tub, and separate shower to accommodate up to 6 guests.
After dinner, come and enjoy The Perch situated above the house line and just a short walk from the Chalet. There you will find adirondack chairs and a chiminea. Spend the evening by the fire enjoying a glass of wine or hot chocolate and S'mores with The Continental Divide as your backdrop.
Two sides of this property are bordered by the RMNP ensuring privacy to meditate, take a hike, or photograph the grandfather trees, aspen groves, birds.

Rocky Mountain National Park requires that you purchase entrance passes and seasonally during summer months, reservations for timed entry. Renting Thulite Chalet does not include these or nullify the need for these.

Cancellation Policy
In the event that the Tenant cancels the reservation for any reason, a 5% cancellation fee will be charged. If the cancellation occurs less than sixty (60) days before Check-In Date, all monies paid by Tenant will be forfeited if the Rental Property is not re-rented by the Check-In Date. Ponderosa Realty will make all reasonable efforts to re-rent the Property by the Check-In Date.
Deposit Policy
50% payment is due at the time of booking, if booked 60 days or more from check-in date. 100% payment is required for reservations booked less than 60 days from the check-in date.
The balance of the total cost is due 60 days before check in occurs.
