Great proximity to town, extremely clean and loved using the fireplace. The view is absolutely amazing and we saw elk and mule deer from the deck! The place is VERY dated. If you are looking for a great view in a clean place with no frills, this is your place. Also, no lockbox on-site- you have to retrieve and return keys from a realty office 10 minutes away.
I have all checkin/outs go through the office because this allows us to meet the vast majority of our guests and add a personal touch to each reservation.
My family had a great experience staying here! We were all surprised at how large and spacious the home actually was. We enjoyed utilizing the porch and lower patio to admire the beautiful view of Estes and enjoyed a fire in the fireplace! This place was perfect for our quick trip to Estes Park!
Good location, clean!
Good place
The home has great views from the deck and inside the living room just like the pictures show. The host was responsive and courteous . We enjoyed our stay and will consider staying here again in the future.
We enjoyed a wonderful family getaway at this amazing air bnb. The view from the deck is other-worldly. We loved the ping pong table and enjoyed the vast selection of music and puzzles. Will definitely stay here again when we need the space!
Look no further for your stay in Estes Park. This house has beautiful views out of the a-frame cabin, homey warmth with the fire place, and is clean and cared for. Very spacious in both bedrooms and communal areas. Easy to find and close to town while being secluded in nature. The hosts were professional and communicative too!
We were able to stay here again and it was well worth it. The location is a short drive to downtown and close to Rocky Mountain National Park. It was the same great experience we had as last time.
Thank you for choosing our property. I'm happy to see it meet your needs. Please keep us in mind for your future trips to Estes Park.
The view from that upper deck was worth the stay alone. Perfect peaceful place to enjoy morning coffee as the swallows and other birds darted about and sang with the mountains in the backdrop.
We really enjoyed the house and it's stunning view! It has lots of space. Beyond the beds, there is a fold out couch downstairs and two additional couches in the living room. The house was well stocked throughout with extra towels, blankets, pillows etc. The kitchen was abundantly stocked with dishes, coffee mugs, essentials and basic things like spices which is always appreciated. I would love to go in the fall and use the center fire place. It looks so warm and inviting!
Great place with lots of space. The kids really enjoyed the pool table/ping pong table in the basement. The space allows kids to enjoy themselves and adults to relax all at the same time. Great views of the mountains. Very private and peaceful. Worked perfect for 2 families of 4 people each. Close to town. We saw a few elk and deer near the home as well which was nice. Would definitely stay here again if returning to Estes Park.
The house is beautiful and spacious with an amazing view of the mountains. The only part that was not to our liking was having to pick up and drop off the keys at a separate location 10 minutes away.
Fanatic place, everything was great, overall best place in estate park
It had everything that our group needed to stay in town for a wedding.
Overall the place was great and great for the price. The house was in great condition.
Awesome place! Highly recommend!
Loved the spaciousness of the lodge, and the location was not overpopulated with other cabins. Elk would wander through occasionally, and happily we saw no bears. The town of Estes was touristy and fun, and lots of nature trails like those around Bear Lake accessible by bus available for hiking. Some things were already closed for the season so plan a trip a little earlier in the year.
We had a great stay at Ponderosa’s property - we did even see a bear from our deck down below, so definitely follow the trash guidelines!
This A-frame cabin is a wonderful step back in time. Lots of history and family warmth here. I loved it. There is SO much space and everything you need for a comfortable stay. I loved the location, being a little off the beaten path, and views are amazing. This home is definitely dated (think 70's), but to me that is the charm. It is extremely clean and well maintained. We'd definitely stay here again.
Perfect place for large group. Great value with Incredible views
Very comfortable and nice location! The airbnb was very clean and had thoughtful touches. Lovely patio and we had an amazing view of the hills. Highly recommend for anyone planning to visit the rocky mountain national park.
Very spacious and well-equipped home with a lovely mountain view. Short drive from the Estes Park town center and Rocky Mountain park entrances. We had a key mixup at checkin but it was quickly resolved with round-the-clock responsive service.
Awesome view, the amount of space was great for a large family and guests. The humming bird feeder was one of our favorite attractions. The birds did not mind getting up close and personal. Close enough to everything in Estes Park and RMNP. Thanks for a great experience!
Amazing location and views. House is definitely dated but well established and accommodated our family well! We enjoyed every min. Would stay here again. Our last night we cooked our own trout that we caught from lake Estes with rented poles and we had at least 50 Elk in our yard absolutely gorgeous! There was only 3 of us but this home is big enough for large families!
This was an awesome place to stay in Estes Park. The place was close downtown, numerous attractions and restaurants. Was very spacious for the group that we had and had great amenities for the nights we stayed in. This place also didn't have many check out rules which was nice. Would definitely recommend this place to stay.
Home was as-advertised. Drive up to the property is fairly steep, but during our summer trip as easy to access. House was very clean and there were plenty of extra amenities. The kitchen was adequately stocked and we were able to cook our own meals. Location is amazing as both Estes Park and RMNP are only minutes away. One evening we had a couple of families of elk walk through the yard and we got some great pictures from the balcony. Property Management company was easy to work with and check-in and check-out was smooth.
This is a quaint house that meets the needs of a family. It is in a great location with easy access to Rocky Mountain National Park and downtown Estes Park. We spend some amazing evenings on their balcony!
This house is clean and boasts a beautiful view. The location is perfect for visiting RMNP and downtown Estes.
Great place to stay with fantastic views, would definitely go back
The house is gorgeous and the view is breathtaking. If you go during the winter make sure you have 4-wheel drive. We had visitors one morning… 4 does and a buck just hanging out munching on brush. They were not bothered by the sound of the snow crunching und my feet as I was trying to take pics from a very respectable distance. We will definitely be back.
Came for Christmas and it did not fail to give us the experience that we needed. So much space for all of us and we always had things to do within the house. The game room kept us all entertained!
Great location with great views, awesome spot in Estes park. Only 30m from nearly anything in the Rockies.
Great cabin with plenty of space and amazing views
The house was great, located a short drive from downtown Estes Park. The home was fully furnished and provided a great view of the mountains.
We had to call Ponderosa Realty to advise that the cleaning crew was still at the location at our 3pm check in arrival.
We drove 15 hours and were looking to sit back and relax - but instead had to return within an hour or so. This was inconvenient and unexpected.
After we returned, the home looked clean (minus the blender on top of the fridge). The home was pleasant and has amazing views of the mountains.
Great location and view. Flashback to the 70’s inside but it was fun!
This place is spectacular. The location is great and the view of the sunset over the mountains is divine. There are plenty of beds and space for a large group. It's a bit warm during the day but cools down nicely in the evening. We played pool every night downstairs and had a blast. Be aware that it is a dirt road going up to the house, but I traversed easily in the summer with my small sedan. I highly recommend staying here.
The house was great. Would stay here again in an instant.
The view alone from the front deck is worth staying for at this lovely place. The place is huge, clean and centrally located to everything Estes Park has to offer. The funky 70s vibe makes for an interesting experience. The house was perfect for two families to share - plenty of space and all of the necessary amenities.
Great Property with great mountain and wildlife views. Plenty of room for everyone.
Very cozy spot, loved the circular fireplace in the living room, made for warm nights playing games with the family!
