Beautiful!
My husband and I plus my brother and his wife just spent 6 days staying here. The AFrame house was clean and kitchen well supplied. The beds in both bedrooms are in need of new mattresses. The blinds in the bedrooms are also broken. There are 4 sliding doors and all of them work hard. We had to have the one slider that locks with a key for entry repaired as we could not lock it or unlock it.
It has 3 decks that need some updating to make them a little more welcoming.
The people responsible for maintenance were very responsive.
The driveway is a bit of a challenge because of the ruts.
The views from the place are beautiful.
Really good stay, close by Estes park and beautiful patio in the loft. Bed needs to be upgraded and could have better cleanliness
Great place, not as secluded from other houses as it seems in photos, but it was beautiful! Very cozy! Our girl's trip was successful thanks to this warm little cabin.
Thank you for letting us stay in your cabin!
The place is beautiful and is in a great location for downtown as well as RMNP. The only issue we had as the beds being slightly uncomfortable but if you bring your own pillows, it’s no problem at all! We really enjoyed our stay, being able to cook our own food and enjoy the views from the balcony and patio.
I am an Airbnb super host so I look at things differently. I read a June review that listed many of my same concerns, and no changes had been made in the interim. That tells me a lot.... The house needs a deep cleaning. The loveseat is broken (can't really even sit in it) and the cushions underneath were full of food. The beds are old and uncomfortable the king sags in the middle - foam mattress pads would do wonders. There were little, if any basic supplies such as dishwashing detergent, toilet paper, paper towels, etc. You are expected to provide your own. While this works on longer stays, in my experience for shorter term stays they are are provided. The rental is in a price range where I expected them to be provided.
The closets are messy and have broken vertical blinds all over the floor.
The deck needs power washing. The light about the kitchen table was broken. The pots and pans were old and not in good condition.
Overall, the location was great - we loved the quietness and the closeness to town. The Wifi worked well - we enjoyed our stay but the house could have been so much more.
It is one of the reasons I don't recommend using commercial property managers - there is little concern about the property of others.
Had a good trip, would absolutely stay here again.
We had a wonderful stay here! Great location and quiet neighborhood. Accommodated 4 adults comfortably, and had an amazing view. Host was very responsive and they are great with suggestions on things to do around Estes Park. Can’t wait to visit again!
Perfect location for us …place just needs a deep clean & some tlc- big difference between individual owned property & commercial owned property!
Property is as described. The Ponderosa group was attentive and punctual with messages. Location was excellent allowing easy access to the park while avoiding downtown traffic. The water was hot and pressure good. Master bed was good, not grest. Would stay here again.
This cabin's location is unbeatable, being minutes from RMNP and downtown Estes Park. We had deer and elk in the front yard every day with a gorgeous view of the mountains on all sides.
The bedroom upstairs was roomy and comfortable. Overall we enjoyed this stay very much.
We stayed at Peaceful Pines Cabin for 5 nights as part of our trip to visit the Rocky Mountain National Park. The location of the cabin is perfect; it’s close to the park entrance, downtown Estes Park, and numerous restaurants. Unfortunately, that is where our positive experience at Peaceful Pines Cabin ends. The cabin is managed by a local company (Ponderosa Realty) and not the owners; therefore, the experience is impersonal and there are many rules and fees. In addition to this, many items in the house are old and in need of replacement. For example, the master bedroom mattress is old and lumpy while the downstairs bedroom mattress is VERY HARD. The sofas are saggy and obviously way past their prime. The sliding front door doesn’t slide smoothly and is a pain to open/close and the lock on the door also sticks and is difficult to use. As mentioned in the description, each bathroom comes with one roll of tissue paper after which, the guests are expected to provide their own tissue paper (ridiculous for the price we paid per night!). The tissue paper provided was the single-ply cheap stuff that dissolves as soon as it is touched. The house isn’t well taken care of; the planters on the deck have dead plants in them and the ceramic decor is broken or neglected. Finally, before leaving, guests are required to turn on the dishwasher or wash and put away all kitchen dishes and utensils, clear and clean the counters, replace all furniture to its original location, turn down the heat to the assigned temperature, and drop off the keys at the company’s office. Failing to abide by the check-out instructions and any other rules results in heavy fees. All in all, this place isn’t worth the $350+ (all fees included) we paid per night. Staying at a hotel would have been more economical and the rest of the experience would be the same or better at a hotel.
Cute cabin near Estes Park. We enjoyed our stay while being only a few minutes away from shops, restaurants, & RMNP.
Close to town, close to park entrance. Quiet neighborhood with lots of wildlife. Great A-frame house that we enjoyed. Would definitely recommend to friends.
Outstanding location, lots of wildlife but the cabin condition doesn’t match with the pictures in site. Lack of maintenance, dust everywhere. Looks a little rundown specially the outdoor balcony part. Beds and sofas are not comfortable as well.
Amazing views ! We didn't want to leave.
Super beautiful Airbnb!! Loved it!!
Charming place with nice views.
Close enough to town without being too close.
Great location! The cabin stayed warm and super comfortable in the winter weather. Good views from the Cabin and close proximity to the Rocky Mountain National Park made it a wonderful weekend getaway.
View was beautiful, but was not a comfortable place to stay due to beds and furniture.
nicest place I've ever stayed in this price range, I was worried about the cold but the building is well insulated.
Nice place to stay and very near to Rocky Mountain national park.
We had a wonderful relaxing stay at Peaceful Pines. We appreciated the thoughtful decor, the fireplace, and the views of the surrounding nature
I've been to Estes Park probably a dozen times and this is my favorite place I've stayed. Just a super cool cabin and would definitely stay there again.
