Odessa Gorge Cabin - 1 bedroom cabin - great views and summer pool

The home was great. The pics showed two Adirondack chairs, which were not there. We never found the big trash can, even after walking the neighborhood. But overall it was a great location and really nice clean cabin.

I love how close the location was to the park, and especially the "Rocky Mountain National Park" sign being walking distance. The place was perfect for my family of three. Also had a little manual with food and activity recommendations which was great! We ate at several of the restaurants and also checked out the roller coaster!

We were very happy with the cabin. It was perfect for two and had a beautiful view. Was close to RMNP and the shops. Perfect!

The cabin is small, and furnishings etc. are basic. That said, the location in Estes Park is ideal for access to the National Park, and if you're off hiking as we were the cabin does do job as to necessities. It should be noted that there are two heavy glass doors that can be difficult to hold open in windy conditions (and it was often windy) especially when coming or going with luggage or backpacks.

We initially made our way to the cabin only to realize, upon re-reading the arrival instructions, that we had to drive into town to the Ponderosa Realty office to access a lockbox that contained the keys. As this was July 4th weekend, and the downtown traffic was impacted by construction as well as hellish congestion, driving the extra 15 minutes each way took longer than that. Why not simply have the lockbox on the property?

We enjoyed our stay in Estes Park! The views were stunning and the location was very close to get into RMNP. Everything was clean and picked up. We overall enjoyed our stay.

There was not any air conditioning, a window unit would be nice for summer days. We also had to drive into town to pick up keys rather than having a code to just get in.

Lovely, small cabin to vacation with your love ones. It feels a bit isolated witch is good if you like privacy. Very close to the Rocky Mountains

We got caught during the huge storm and got snowed in pretty good during our stay. Hosts were responsive within a couple hr timeframe every time and were extremely flexible given the circumstances. The cabin was as described and cozy! We did think the bed was less comfortable than desired but it didn’t put a damper on our stay. Additionally, The tv would freeze up and reset occasionally while we were watching movies. Non the less, a great stay.

Great cabin with a great location. I screwed up my dates and the host got right back to me to help get it all sorted. The kitchen had all the basics and it was close enough to town that I could easily go grab a bite to eat. All in all, I had a great stay and look forward to returning for a longer stay in Estes!

We will hopefully return many times, what a gorgeous little cabin. We celebrated our 10 year anniversary and the home made it oh so special.

This was the experience of a lifetime! From the get-go, Ponderosa Realty had excellent communication. They told us exactly where to go, and what to do in order to get the key to the cabin and check in. No issues there. They even had a little personalized packet of directions to the cabin, instructions, and more.

The cabin itself was gorgeous and cozy and so, so homey. We arrived on a Friday night, just as it was beginning to snow. There is nothing like sitting by a roaring fire while the snow falls down outside. The solitude and peace and quiet of the cabin was like a dream. The wifi was great. The chairs, sofa, and bed were comfy. The kitchen was well-furnished. In short, this is one of the best experiences we've ever had in Estes Park and we can't wait to do it again.

Nice quaint place for a couple who wants to get away, close to RMNP with nice views, well equipped (tho used towels for pot holders, TP for tissues) and everything we used worked fine.

Great location if you plan on hiking in RMNP! Cozy cabin to relax in after a long day of hiking. The font porch is the perfect spot to hang out with mountain views! Kitchen equip with everything you need to cook dinner. We enjoyed our stay and will book again the next time we visit Estes park!

Great, quiet locationwith excellent views. Very clean! We brought our 12 year old son and one of our adult sons, and we were comfortable, if a little crowded for sleeping arrangements. (our boys are just too big to share the pull out couch, so we planned ahead and brought a cot for one of them to sleep on.) Cute dinning table provided a great workspace. We used the grill one night, worked great. The kitchen had everything we needed. So many hummingbirds visited us on the front deck. We would absolutely stay again!

Cozy cabin, close to Rocky Mountain National Park, animals such as elk visited the property every morning. The grill did not work for us but we let the owner know it needed repaired. The fundamentals were provided. Overall we had a lovely stay.

We really enjoyed our stay. It was beautiful and quiet and an easy drive to everything we wanted to see. The cabin was clean and had what we needed.

This was a nice small cabin close to the RMNP entrance. Mostly it was as expected from the listing. We were surprised that the bathroom was only accessible through the bedroom, and the pocket door does not have a latch. Since we were staying with our teenager it was awkward, but not a huge problem. Other reviews mentioned the small shower, and it was indeed small! It’s a glass corner shower enclosure, so there is no forgiveness in movement like there would be with a shower curtain. The plus side of the glass is that it helps a little with claustrophobia. The bathroom is not particularly small, it’s just not laid out efficiently. We enjoyed our stay and would stay again. These are just a few details that I would’ve found helpful in evaluating a place to stay.

Great stay. Cabin is the perfect size for two people. Very cozy and had everything we needed!

The cabin was great! The area is quiet but still close to a few restaurants, convenience stores and the Daily Donut. The cabin had everything we needed and a fireplace. We spent Sunday in RMNP but only saw mule deer. At the cabin, there was a coyote in the field behind the cabin and we got a few pics through the back window. Mule deer and elk were spotted around the cabin. It was a great getaway...thanks.

Odessa Gorge was an amazing cabin! We saw deer out of our window one morning and they hung out for over an hour.

Everything was amazing in the cabin with all the creature comforts as home!

Beautiful views in the cozy cabin. Heat was just fine (cooler in the back rooms), and the wood-burning fireplace is a really nice perk. Some troubles with the sink in the kitchen and "Laurel Ln" is not marked unless you go straight up from High Dr, so navigate before dark - it's the loop below the bluish house off to the left. Also, be clear that ALL of the addresses are 540 - Odessa Gorge is cabin 5 and is marked on a small placard on the side of the cabin. Lovely spot to stay, especially in the snow as you watch the storms move in and out of the peaks. Kitchen has everything you need to be comfy. Imagine in summer these close-together cabins are crammed, but we'll be back offseason for sure! Thanks, Ponderosa.

Two words: BEAUTIFUL VIEWS!!! It was a perfect little space for a quick escape. The location is absolutely amazing with quick access to RMNP. We definitely enjoyed our time and can’t wait to come back!

Nice small but cozy house! Beautiful location! Had several condiments available but needed regular coffee for the coffee maker.

The location was more than PERFECT for visitors going to RMNP! Couldn't get any closer to the park entrance. Cute, cozy cabin. Perfect for 2. I can see it being a little crowded for more than 2 people, but it works. The only real complaint I had was how small the shower was, but I know the cabin is only so big. It did the job. Great front porch and amazing view from the porch and also out the back bedroom window. The wildlife / deer around the cabin were very cool to watch too! THANKS FOR THE STAY! We loved Estes and Rocky Mountain!

Beautiful cabin with amazing view.

The cabin location is excellent for coming and going from RMNP, and for the amazing views of the mountains. It's got everything 2 people will need from the updated bathroom to the efficient kitchen. Don't be put off by the dark curtains as you enter - open all the windows and there is a great cross breeze, especially in the bedroom. As others have mentioned the shower is small but the pressure is good. Bumpy road coming up so take your time. An antlered mule deer came right through the yard area and we saw hummingbirds at the feeder. Great base for exploring the park and very convenient to Bird & Jim restaurant.

The location of this cabin is great! There is a shared pool which is an added bonus for summer stays. The community is quiet and you can really appreciate the stars on the cabin porch. The kitchen is fully stocked with dishes and appliances. We really enjoyed our stay!

The home was very comfortable and cozy and made for a perfect stay. It is incredibly close to the Rocky Mountain National Park entrance as well as the delicious restaurant, Bird and Jim. We had a great stay!

An amazing cabin right next to RMNP, just what we needed. It was quiet, clean, and very comfortable. The host was very informative/communicative, and helpful with any questions. This place should have everything that you need. If you’re going to be spending time in the park, this is one of the best places to stay.

A lovely private, cozy cottage. wouldnt call it "Luxury" but it was certainly what we personally needed : some private time, cozy fireplace (though wood was an issue we managed that part being "in the woods a bit. Great location for town and the park!

Nice area, amazing view!

The view on the mountains every morning was amazing! We absolutely loved our stay. It was far enough away from town where you could feel like you were away, yet close enough where if you needed to quick grab something it was right there. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very clean and nice with hot water for the shower. It has a good size kitchen with appropriate cookware and some spices. We were able to cook our meals every night. I highly recommend this stay and will definitely be trying to make it back here!!!

We enjoyed our stay at Odessa Cabin. It is very cozy, a perfect spot for a relaxing weekend during the winter. Awesome view of the RMNP peaks.

All other guest comments are spot on! View is great, super cozy, fantastic upgrades, shower is small but manageable. The only downside is the hard bed. We didn't get a good night's sleep once in five days. Upside is that this is an easy fix. Great little place to get away!!

Lovely small cabin that fit my fiancé and I comfortably! Very clean and cozy. They have extra portable heaters if you visit in the fall/winter. The view is spectacular in the mornings and partly the reason why we booked. Just a 15 minute drive to the Rockies and a 5 minute drive to Estes Park. Perfect location.
