Majestic Mountain - 3 bedroom home with great snow capped views

Loved this home. Amazing views of the mountain, a few great restaurants down the street and a nice walk towards the national park (though Rocky Mountain really does need a car since it’s so big). Town is a bit of a long walk down streets with no sidewalk, but would probably be doable if you’ve adjusted well to the altitude. The location felt perfect - it was close enough to town that you could get there quickly, but was far enough from town to be quiet and peaceful and incentivize visiting restaurants which are a little off the beaten path (and all really good). The house was great, with some awesome mid-century modern furniture and an amazing high ceiling. Opening some windows and the doors to the deck gave a great breeze, and with the weather we had during our stay it was great to feel at one with nature either inside or out. Already taking to friends about going back in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was private and just outside of downtown which we enjoyed since there was a lot of chaos and construction downtown. But it’s super close to everything and the entrance of RMNP.
We loved the nature that could be seen and the beautiful view of the mountains. We saw a doe and fawn right outside our deck twice. The humming birds and chipmunks were everywhere which we also loved.
The only thing we didn’t like was that the house was a bit on the older side and there was no air conditioning upstairs where 2 bedrooms were. My daughter has asthma so this ended up being a bit of an issue for her but fortunately it cools down at night a lot so we opened windows and blasted the a/c on the main level to compensate. Also many of the outlets didn’t work nor then lamps etc in the living room. But I would stay again and recommend the place.

Beautiful beautiful place, the view was breathtaking. The amenities were beyond. Everything we could possibly need or want was available to us. To say my family loved it here, doesn’t begin to say it. Estes has always been our go to vacation spot for spring break and we would love to return here again.

My family and I had a wonderful stay. The house was just as described with beautiful views, plenty of room, extremely neat and clean, and in a convenient location, close to everything we wanted to do.

Bring your own detergent if you want to use the washing machine. We can’t find soap bar or shampoo and because it’s a weekend nobody answered the phone. Everything else was great!

This house is so beautiful! It’s so close to downtown and the entrance to rmnp. We even had a few hikes that were only 10 minutes away! We had an issue with a leaky faucet, and they sent someone out and got it replaced within 12 hours of me contacting them! (We called them at night, they send someone the next morning.) The kitchen was also well stocked, and there were plenty of extra blankets in case it got cold. I would definitely stay here again!

The location was amazing to visit Estes Park, but even better to visit the Rocky Mountains National Forest.

The rooms are comfortable and the kitchen was clean. Washer and dryer worked great too.

The deck has a gorgeous view with a big BBQ and best stocked kitchen ever—they even have a standing mixer! Truly a 5 star experience.

Our stay here was great... lots of space, a small grocery store just across the street, and the host was very responsive to our questions, requests, etc.

Wonderful experience. Easy no-contact check-in. The views are great, and the location made it easy to spend time in RMNP or in town.

The setting is unreal, such a beautiful place

This is an unbeatable location with spectacular views! Cabin is cute and well-stocked with lots of room for kiddos to play. Unfortunately, there were a couple negatives to report. Especially during COVID, we are used to very clean rentals. Upon entering, the floors were quite dirty, the rest of the space was clean. We reported this to the manager, but no action was taken. Also, the twin bed in the “kids” room is completely worn out and unusable. I hope this is remedied, as this is a lovely property!

We stayed in Ponderosa’s place for a long weekend getaway and it was even better than we expected! We had extremely clear days which gave us beautiful views of the mountains straight from the deck and living room. Lots of natural lighting and open space for our group. The beds were extremely comfortable, the space clean, and the kitchen had everything we needed for any meals we wanted to cook. There was a problem with the internet (issues with the provider which was out of their control) but they responded quickly and stayed with the service provider until the issue was resolved which was much appreciated. The WiFi was not a huge issue as we were out and about exploring the park most of the day. This was a great place to stay!

Great place for a mini vacation! Loved that downtown Estes Park is extremely close and the amenities provided were super useful for our stay since we could not go out a few days

The place is very comfortable. Quick access to RMNP. Short drive to Estes. We loved the place. The host was great. Our wifi stopped working and the host tried to fix it ASAP. We will definitely go back.

Wonderful home in a wonderful spot. Incredible views of the mountains out of the large windows in the main living area. It was an amazing spot to sit and enjoy a slower pace for a bit.

Wonderful location! Massive south facing deck with plenty of seating. Tons of wildlife, including a dozen mule deer surrounding the cabin within the first 15 minutes of being there. I didn't go all the way to CO to hang out in the cabin all day but if you wanted to you could. There were plenty of blankets and towels. We actually took food with us and cooked all of our own meals, the kitchen is fully loaded with everything you need (except food of course).
