We very much enjoyed our week-long stay in Little Mooser. The cabin is comfortable, and in a very quiet location. And, very convenient to Rocky Mountain National Park's Beaver Meadows entry station. We hiked every day in the Park. It was nice coming back to the inviting cabin each evening after a long day of hiking. We prepared meals each evening in the small, but functional kitchen. There is a full size refrigerator, and a nice gas range for cooking. Also, a coffee maker, toaster, pots and pans and cooking utensils.
The host company was very responsive when we requested two new non-stick cooking pans as the two existing "non-stick" pans were unsafe for use. The new pans were on the door step the next day! There are now two, brand new, ceramic non-stick pans in the cabin.
We also had the pleasure of a great horned owl make a short visit to the tree tops next to the cabin on a few evenings.
All in all a great place to stay, especially if you are planning to go into RMNP each day.
Such a cute little cabin in the mountains. 30 minute away from the tourist town and maybe an hour from the grocery stores. Major plus, the water pressure is amazing.
Enjoyed this cute cabin for a couple days! Loved the location and it is bigger than it looks when you get inside. Would love to stay there again!
Usually if I’m not completely satisfied with my stay, I just don’t leave a review. But I just had to say something this time.
First, there was absolutely no communication from the host except for system generated messages. Attempts to find out restaurant recommendations, etc., went unanswered.
When I woke up at 8:00 a.m., I discovered I had to check out at the realtor’s office (about a 15 minute drive) by 10:00 or face hefty fines. This gave us about 1.5 hours to shower, pack, and do the required cleanup.
The beds were uncomfortable and tho there was a fan, the cabin stayed hot during the day because you can’t open the windows and get cross ventilation. I understand A/C is non-existent in Estes Park cabins, even the expensive ones. It was also unusually warm during our stay. But ceiling fans or open windows would have helped a lot.
On the plus side, the cabin and surroundings were beautiful. Quiet with lots of nature. Easy drive to downtown.
Probably a good choice if you’re younger and know the check-out requirements in advance.
This is a nice getaway cabin for 2-3 people. There were two of us & it worked very well. Clean & comfortable beds. Kitchen had a lot of things that we needed. It was great to come back to a quiet cabin after a day of hiking! Definitely can see lots of stars & great scenery. WiFi was a bit spotty but there was cable & tv if you needed a distraction other than the town & park.
The Little Mooser is so sweet and perfect for a couple's weekend getaway to the mountains! We were a 20 or 30-minute drive to different trailheads in RMNP and a quick drive to stores/restaurants in Estes Park. Parking spot available. Loved having the deck to watch the sunset.
Such a great little cabin on a very quiet road with beautiful surroundings… lots of wildlife. Had everything we needed. Would definitely use this cabin again.
Little Mooser was a great place to stay for two. A little rustic, but was perfect for a long weekend as a home base to enjoy Rocky Mountain NP and Estes Park. Thought it was fairly price and as advertised. Definitely recommended.
This place is amazing!! Quiet and close to the park! Beautiful sunset views and perfect for the mountains
This was by far the cleanest Airbnb I've stayed in! Not a speck of dust, cobweb, or a dead bug anywhere. There were plenty of toiletries and extra linens, even board games, books and movies! While we didn't use it, the kitchen was well stocked with anything you might need for cooking. The cabin was secluded and so peaceful. We had so much fun here and would definitely book here again!
Beautiful location. Private deck. Great cabin. Large king size bed. Comfortable. Would stay again Any time.
Comfortable and quiet, the perfect place to listen to thunderstorms.
My wife and I had a lovely stay at the little moser cabin. It is perfectly located and very close to park entrance and the town.
We loved how secluded and calm the location felt. The cabin was cozy, clean and had all necessary essentials.
Check-in was easy with very clear instructions.
I would definitely recommend this stay to anyone. Full 5 stars!!
The location is great- just a quick drive to all the shops and 30 minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park! Definitely could use a little updating, but altogether enjoyed our stay!
Little mooser was great! Would definitely stay again!
Beautiful cabin and really close to RMNP
Perfect cabin in the woods! Location is close to Rocky Mountain NP and Town. Highly recommend!
The cabin was easy to find and had great views of the surrounding mountains. It was cute and quaint and had just what we needed for a vacation exploring Rocky Mountain National Park. Would stay here again and recommend to a friend.
The Little Mooser cabin is the perfect stay for those fixing for some Rocky Mountain adventures! The kitchen was sparkling clean and had many supplies for cooking. I would recommend bringing a metal Brillo pad to help with clean up or (if you’re driving) bring a non-stick pan for ease in clean up. 🙂 there was a pull out bed, twin bed, and king size bed. The bedding was clean and perfect for naps after long days of hiking. The bathroom was in full working condition as well, with a clean toilet and hot water for the shower. Overall, I would recommend staying at the Little Mooser. You won’t be disappointed!
Quiet and peaceful getaway tucked in the woods.
The Little Mooser was awesome. Rustic and a great location. Quick drive into town and quiet neighborhood. No A/C but the cabin stayed cool during very hot days and was comfortable at night. Bed super comfy and lots of hot water. Would definitely stay here again!
Nice secluded cabin close to town and RMNP. Nothing extravagant by any means, but a perfect home base for anyone exploring the park or the town.
The little mooser was a great place to stay for the week!
Great basic economical cabin. Bring a grill cleaner and a nonstick pan if you like to cook. All other kitchen utensils were stocked.
