It was perfect for two of us. The bed was comfortable. I think it was a foam mattress with a plush mattress topper. Heat worked well. Shower was great. Kitchen was adequate. It is more private than most small rentals we saw in Estes. It is at the end of a quiet road that appears to have some small rentals and some larger beautiful homes. Only a few were occupied. We put our hammock up between two trees and it was very peaceful. Cabin was very clean.

We loved the cabin. It was more roomy than we expected. Cute decor amd comfortable beds. Small but fully functional kitchen. Close to gas station and grocery store but had a wilderness feel. Realty company was very helpful and responsive to questions. Property was slightly hard to find in the dark and our map app didn’t take us far enough - just drive a few houses further and you will see it.

About our stay at "Little Mooser": It was a nice little modern cabin built to look like an older rustic cabin. There's no A/C, but it's in a very shady/mature treed area and opening all the windows and doors makes it very comfortable. Depending on the season you visit, you'll be closing up those windows at night. It is heated. The following is just my guess: I think all the cabins in this area are on about an acre, were built for family weekend getaways, and for rentals. Fairly secluded. There are plenty of coffee cups and wine glasses, but no tumblers or hi-ball glasses.
The best thing is its proximity to the lovely town of Estes Park and to the entrance of the Rocky Mountain National Park.

Sir, we have no problems with how you left the cabin. It was an easy clean and we thank you for your assistance.

The little Mooser was a fantastic location in the woods, I can still smell the pine trees, with a view of the mountains! We played cribbage down by the picnic table overlooking the mountains. The cabin was cozy, spacious, with an extremely comfortable bed. Unfortunately, the hot water heater went out on us on day 2 and the stove didn’t work as well. We really wanted to stay at the little Mooser the rest of the time but also wanted hot water! The plumber said they were waiting on a part and could fix it. We spent one more night hoping they could fix it the next day but we got the update it couldn’t be. I will say that staff was on top of this and got us a place (newer condo without AC) to stay in right away. I am grateful we got a different place to stay through them but it wasn’t the same as the little cabin and its coziness. Thank you for helping get us another alternative right away.

Everything was great! The location couldn’t be better. We got into the park within a 10 minute drive. The cabin was perfect for a weekend getaway. The only negative was we did see a few cobwebs and the occasional spider. I will plan to stay here again when I come back though.

We very much enjoyed our week-long stay in Little Mooser. The cabin is comfortable, and in a very quiet location. And, very convenient to Rocky Mountain National Park's Beaver Meadows entry station. We hiked every day in the Park. It was nice coming back to the inviting cabin each evening after a long day of hiking. We prepared meals each evening in the small, but functional kitchen. There is a full size refrigerator, and a nice gas range for cooking. Also, a coffee maker, toaster, pots and pans and cooking utensils.

The host company was very responsive when we requested two new non-stick cooking pans as the two existing "non-stick" pans were unsafe for use. The new pans were on the door step the next day! There are now two, brand new, ceramic non-stick pans in the cabin.

We also had the pleasure of a great horned owl make a short visit to the tree tops next to the cabin on a few evenings.

All in all a great place to stay, especially if you are planning to go into RMNP each day.

Such a cute little cabin in the mountains. 30 minute away from the tourist town and maybe an hour from the grocery stores. Major plus, the water pressure is amazing.

Usually if I’m not completely satisfied with my stay, I just don’t leave a review. But I just had to say something this time.
First, there was absolutely no communication from the host except for system generated messages. Attempts to find out restaurant recommendations, etc., went unanswered.
When I woke up at 8:00 a.m., I discovered I had to check out at the realtor’s office (about a 15 minute drive) by 10:00 or face hefty fines. This gave us about 1.5 hours to shower, pack, and do the required cleanup.
The beds were uncomfortable and tho there was a fan, the cabin stayed hot during the day because you can’t open the windows and get cross ventilation. I understand A/C is non-existent in Estes Park cabins, even the expensive ones. It was also unusually warm during our stay. But ceiling fans or open windows would have helped a lot.
On the plus side, the cabin and surroundings were beautiful. Quiet with lots of nature. Easy drive to downtown.
Probably a good choice if you’re younger and know the check-out requirements in advance.

This is a nice getaway cabin for 2-3 people. There were two of us & it worked very well. Clean & comfortable beds. Kitchen had a lot of things that we needed. It was great to come back to a quiet cabin after a day of hiking! Definitely can see lots of stars & great scenery. WiFi was a bit spotty but there was cable & tv if you needed a distraction other than the town & park.

The Little Mooser is so sweet and perfect for a couple's weekend getaway to the mountains! We were a 20 or 30-minute drive to different trailheads in RMNP and a quick drive to stores/restaurants in Estes Park. Parking spot available. Loved having the deck to watch the sunset.

This was by far the cleanest Airbnb I've stayed in! Not a speck of dust, cobweb, or a dead bug anywhere. There were plenty of toiletries and extra linens, even board games, books and movies! While we didn't use it, the kitchen was well stocked with anything you might need for cooking. The cabin was secluded and so peaceful. We had so much fun here and would definitely book here again!

The Little Mooser cabin is the perfect stay for those fixing for some Rocky Mountain adventures! The kitchen was sparkling clean and had many supplies for cooking. I would recommend bringing a metal Brillo pad to help with clean up or (if you’re driving) bring a non-stick pan for ease in clean up. 🙂 there was a pull out bed, twin bed, and king size bed. The bedding was clean and perfect for naps after long days of hiking. The bathroom was in full working condition as well, with a clean toilet and hot water for the shower. Overall, I would recommend staying at the Little Mooser. You won’t be disappointed!
