Kabina on Fish Creek - 2 bedroom cabin - quiet location

Fish Creek sits on a not-too-traveled road, on a small lot, in a quiet neighborhood. It’s a 12 to 15 minute drive to Estes or RMNP. We visited in late July and it was very dry, warm, but the house stayed cool with windows open. There are just enough trees on the lot to obscure Mountain Views. Living room and dining furniture are homey and welcoming.

The beds felt like basic mattresses, and were uncomfortable. The hallway doors to washer and dryer have failing hardware, and required rigging to keep them from staying open. There were some small noticeable areas that were missed in cleaning. Animals got into the trash can and shredded garbage all over the driveway, and we had to re-bag all the trash. The trash can does lock closed, but it was very full, and apparently was not locked upon our arrival. The listing says a short walk to amenities, but that is not accurate at all.

This was a cute little house for our family of 5. At first we were surprised it was right next to a main road, but it still ended up being safe for our small kids. The road wasn’t that busy and the kids made great use of the small yard.

Some surprises that aren’t listed: It was equipped with games like cornhole, badminton, footballs, board games and puzzles. It also had a washer and dryer, coffee grounds and filters, spices, plastic wrap, and every kitchen utensil we needed. For babies, there was a booster seat and pac n play in the closet.

It has other houses close by, but we still felt privacy, and the house was nicely remodeled as it says.

The price was the best deal I could find; everything is expensive in this area per night.

Place was nice and clean, one bad thing, driveway was very inconvenient to park on when wet, very muddy. Especially if you have a larger vehicle, like a Chevy Tahoe.

A really nice little cabin with just the right amount of space for a small family (i.e. two adults and one or two kids). The kitchen is well-equipped, and there are even niceties around like a good selection of board games, a high chair with tray, and a pack and play. It can be a little cool if you're staying in winter, so the furnace will be on a lot and it takes a while to warm up -- not a big deal, just good to keep in mind. The hosts are also really nice and responsive, so it's a great place all around, especially considering the location!

I would stay again.

We rented this air bnb and we feel so lucky t have gotten it for such an affordable rate. We brought our family and were hoping to fit ok. the couches were large so that my teen boys could sleep on them. The kitchen was large enough for a large gathering and to decorate a wedding cake in it. Everything you could think of that we would need was there. It was so nice, comfortable and quiet. Wish we could have stayed longer. If we ever go to Estes Park again we will definintely be staying here again.

Great place to stay. Good sized kitchen and living spaces. Washer and dryer were sure handy. It’s been a wet summer so the grass was pretty high. The pathway to the house could use a mow. One of us was working that week while the others played. The internet was a bit slow (6 Mbps) but most people are not there to work so it won’t matter. We’d stay here again. Thank you.

In July of 2023, our family of five enjoyed a wonderful four-night stay in this beautiful house. With plenty of room for all of us, we never felt cramped or uncomfortable, and were able to relax and enjoy our vacation to the fullest. Located just a few minutes from downtown Estes Park, the house is situated on the stunning Fish Creek Road, which provided us with breathtaking views and easy access to all the local attractions. Overall, we were extremely pleased with our stay in this lovely house and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient vacation rental in Estes Park.

It was a great winter weekend other than the subpar windows that let in so much cold air and rattled in the wind. The fireplace was great in the winter. And the place was super clean.

Nice little cabin in Estes Park. Was great for accessing RMNP. Got it last minute and it worked well. Small place, but very nice inside.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It's not a huge space but we knew that up front. The kitchen was well stocked for an AirBnb. The lack of A/C was not an issue even though temps were super high in Denver on our arrival. Outdoor areas were nice in the cool mountain air. Parking was in the grass/gravel but we did fit two vehicles easily. The only slight negative was the grill - the propane tank was empty. Perhaps this was because a previous client neglected to close the valve - it was open when we tried to use it.

The cabin was perfect, very cozy and felt like home away from home. Close to everything, hiking the National park or shopping in town. The cabin is equipped with everything you'll need from pots and pans to towels and fans. My family and I felt right at home. The management company was very efficient freindly and quick to respond. We loved our time here and would gladly stay again.
