We stayed here as a group for a wedding and it was perfect for us. There is plenty of seating for everyone and great views. We even got to enjoy some wildlife with deer wandering through the yard and a herd of elk just up the hill. The house was a very comfortable mountain retreat.
House worked well both layout & location-wise for our family visit to RMNP. It was about a 10 minute drive into the park and with 3 generations staying in one house, the floor plan/house layout worked well for us.
The kitchen was very well stocked with cooking utensils so we were able to cook at night. The backyard was really pleasant. Not super private, but it worked fine to sit out back for an evening drink/hot tub.
The Heartland Retreat was exactly what we needed for our two families. It was clean and comfortable. Its proximity to the Beaver Meadows entrance made it the perfect location for visiting Rocky Mountain National Park. The check-in and out process was easy and communication was timely and clear. Would definitely recommend!
Great home for a large family- our five kids loved the two living spaces, and especially the hot tub. Deer in the backyard almost every night. Well stocked home with everything we needed.
Check in is at a different location, but they were allowed us to get one last day of hiking in before turning in the keys later in the day.
Great access to RMNP and Estes Park
A fantastic place for a family adventure! We loved watching the elk and deer come through the backyard. The perfect place to relax and enjoy the outdoors.
This house was the perfect accommodation for a large group of us! Well spaced out and wonderful views, not too far from the downtown area. The one thing that was inconvenient was the lack of extra toilet paper for our group- we had to go out and purchase some. Also, the driveway was quite tricky to navigate.
This was exactly what we needed for our family and friends! We had enough space to stretch out, all while still connecting in the shared living space.
This place is close to Downtown Estes and the road for The National Park. It was AMAZING seeing elk outside out door.
Definitely would recommend to anyone wanting to experience cabin living
Great place for a big family
We enjoyed our stay and would book again.
Lovely cabin. Felt very rustic but had all the conveniences we've become accustomed too. Great location off the main stays. Lots of Elk and you could hear them too.
Perfect location to town and RMNP, very spacious for a group, great communication when we ran into an issue of the keys not being ready for pick-up.
Great cabin
Very well furnished, lots of space, a great place for a family getaway.
This house was great and in a perfect location . It was centrally located to all attractions. We enjoyed our stay very much!
House was great. Floor plan worked well for our large group. Good location and beautiful views with lots of wildlife activity.
Comfortable, cozy home in a great location near the mountains and town of Estes Park. Beautiful views all around, plenty of space, and excellent amenities. Would stay again.
Wonderful place to stay! We especially loved that we could all sit at the same table for meals. There was often wildlife right out the back door!
We had a very nice stay here with a few other families. We got some snow which does make the driveway a bit of a challenge, but it also made for beautiful scenery. We frequently saw deer roaming nearby.
The kitchen had plenty of plates, bowls, and cookware, there were plenty of towels, and the water is (very) hot. Also, the hot tub was great. Not sure on the official size but it could fit maybe 5 adults comfortably.
Overall, this was a great place for a winter retreat.
This was a great place to stay. We enjoyed the place, the view and it was so close to Estes Park.
Disappointed that the driveway and walkways were not maintained. But the house was absolutely incredible! The most beautiful setting, right in the mountain! And the hot tub, or hot chocolate as my 3 year old granddaughter calls it, was so wonderful with the snow falling.
The pictures do not do the cabin justice. The house was even nicer and the views were beautiful.
We had snow every day so it is best to have a car that can handle snowy slippery roads.
Oh.. and the hot tub! Perfect!
GREAT spot for a team retreat. Plenty of sleeping arrangements and space. We really enjoyed the hot tub. The house was clean, warm and quite comfortable. Each morning we woke up to herds of elk. So magnificent! We will be back!
Great home away from home in the beautiful town of Estes Park.
The property was well maintained and the location was very convenient. We had a lovely time!
What an amazing place and location! I had coffee every morning on the balcony and could not believe the views. What a wonderfully relaxing place. Everything you need for a great mountain adventure was ready for us. Could not have asked for more.
House was cozy and well-equipped. Hot tub was very welcome after long, hard hikes! Hosts were responsive. Would recommend for larger groups!
This property was just perfect for our family vacation. There was plenty of room for all of us. It is a first class place with so many wonderful details that made it "home" the minute we walked in. We had deer in the "back yard" every day including two new born fawns. We also had a family of Golden Mantle Ground Squirrels (Look like Chipmunks). They also had babies and provided daily entertainment. Our grandchildren (toddlers) were so excited to see them. Everything was clean and beautiful. This place is highly recommended for a big family gathering for sure.
Great cabin and great area to stay in! Our family had a great time.
Really great place to stay. Enough room for a few other people, both in sleeping arrangements and in common areas of the home. Wish I could have stayed longer
Pictures don’t do this place justice. It is the perfect distance from town and Rocky Mountain National Park. Great location and clean house.
