Forest Glen is an upscale place so I expected upscale care and the cabin has been neglected. The wooden logs inside are beautiful but the beauty is hidden by 2 inches of dust. The sinks in master bath do not drain. The front and back porches haven’t been swept in months so we swept them and grill was left filthy so my hubby cleaned it. All windows along the river side of cabin had huge amount of cob webs that were full of spiders so again, my hubby took broom and swept them off so we could open windows. It was a very hot week. Standing fan in living area was broken and fans in bedrooms blew dust when first turned on because they were also filthy. The huge A frame window was very dirty and the view could have been so much nicer if they were clean. These things put a negative twist on our stay. We paid top dollar to stay here so it was just disappointing.

Luxury at it's finest! The place was beyond what we expected. The color scheme and decor looked way better in person, and the interior was WAY bigger than it looked in the photos. The family room has a private view of a meadow with birch and pine trees, and faces the river. You can't see the river from the home, but it's just a few hundred feet from the back door. There were 4 Adirondack chairs to lounge in down by the river. There were plenty of extra pillows, and blankets. They also had several box fans. We saw elk multiple times right out the Family room window. Made for a wonderful trip. We look forward to staying there again 🙂

My family and I enjoyed our stay! Very thankful that the family allows the opportunity to stay in such a beautiful place. Very clean, so much space for a quiet and peaceful Christmas, which is exactly what we wanted. I will definitely book with Ponderosa again. They are very clear with instructions and their response time is quick!

Great place to say. Location close to town. The master bedroom heat was not functioning and we contacted Seth at Ponderosa Realty. That same day he came out with 2 space heaters since heat technician was unavailable. Was an excellent source of heat for the room and we stayed warm. Big shout out to Seth.

Great home and location was close to Town. Elk herd every day in yard was awesome, especially when the babies were running and playing. Ponderosa Realty made check in and out super easy. House is absolutely amazing!

This is an incredible log cabin getaway tucked into a secluded little area right in the heart of Estes Park! The indoor and outdoor fireplaces, floor to ceiling windows, huge living room and kitchen were a hit, as was the creek where the kids played on the rocks while adults sat and visited. Truly beautiful and a great value.

What a beautiful and peaceful property. My family of seven stayed for four nights and there was plenty of comfy space for everybody. Sitting down by the river in the morning having our coffee was such a treat. We also had a small herd of female elk for the first day that just hung out in the yard with us.We would definitely stay here again.

This property was above and beyond our expectations. It was the perfect place to call home during our short stay in Estes Park. The the home is gorgeous and was perfect for our family gathering. The boys had success fishing in the river during day and we all enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub gazing at the stars at night. We hope to be back in the not so distant future!

We traveled from New Jersey no knowing what to expect. The people at Ponderosa Realty were very helpful in getting us to our destination as well as giving us some recommendations regarding eateries and attractions. It was an easy process from check-in through check-out.

Great location --we were glad to see elk on the land. Bright indoors, hot tub was very nice.
Missing some basic kitchen supplies such as foil, saran wrap, sugar, etc.
Overall a nice place to stay.
