This place is amazing!!!! We had deer in the yard every day. Elk came through and even saw 2 bulls getting sassy with each other. Close to town but you feel like you are miles away. We absolutely loved it!!

The Chalet and the host were not as we had hoped. When we arrived we noticed many, many stains on the carpet throughout, the deck had a rotten board and needs maintenance, exterior lighting is held together with tape, the swing shown in the photos is in tall weeds and needs maintenance. We had purposefully booked a place with a washer and dryer as we packed for our two week trip knowing we could wash clothes during however, the washer was not working. I contacted the host the day we arrived and asked for maintenance but that never happened. There were three large (95 gallon)trash containers shared between two homes on the property- all three were filled when we arrived. The instructions were to take them to the end of the drive, which we did, but it is a very long, up-hill, gravel drive. Not an easy ask.
We had a family emergency and had to leave early, I contacted the host and nicely requested a partial refund, we received a very rude response. We will not go back.

This is the perfect distance away from downtown Estes so that you can get away from the tourist traffic. About 30 - 40 minutes from the Bear Lake trailhead. We were so pleased with the cabin; it had everything we wanted.

Great location - close to the downtown area and amenities such as horseback riding, keep rental and supermarket-all less than 10 minutes away.

The place has a cozy/comfortable vibe.

One of the things I would suggest, is that they provide a functional humidifier. In addition, I used bottle water for cooking, brushing my teeth, and for the ice trays. Water in the unit was discolored.

Great location - saw a few wild animals from the balcony. Quiet and peaceful.

Lovely cabin with necessary ammenties that was close to downtown Estes Park. Easy to get to and reasonably private. Loved seeing wild life right by the cabin. I do wish it had been a bit more clean as we noticed cowebs in several places in the living room. The fireplace was nice but didnt provide much heat. The kitchen was well equiped with the necessary tools for cooking. Overall happy with our stay and comfortable bed and amenities.

Fantastic spot. Was a little closer to our neighbor than we anticipated based on the pictures, but it wasn’t a big deal. Cabin was nice and clean and beautiful views. We got to see tons of wildlife in the yard and somehow avoided the trash bear.

Would absolutely stay here again.

Beautiful location and property but could use a little TLC. Carpets could use a good cleaning but other than that it was clean. Some better chairs for the deck to enjoy the FANTASTIC scenery would be nice. Having to go to a separate location to pick up and drop off the key is a little inconvenient. A lockbox at the front door would be nicer. Overall it is very nice and we had a great time.

It was such a relaxing quiet vacation! The location is wonderful, about 6mins from the wonderful little town of Estes. You do need an AWD or a 4 wheel drive to get to the cabin. The drive is very steep. Almost every morning we were visited by wildlife, deer, elk and even a bear. The only thing we would change is a tv in the bedroom. We highly recommend staying here…we will be staying here again!

Get ready to enjoy a secluded cabin near Estes Park! This little hideaway is wonderful for a couple who wants to "get away from it all", but also be close enough to town to still go to shops, restaurants and other fun things. We would highly recommend booking the Chalet!

This was our first time to Estes Park and this cabin was super cool to stay in! A great location too. It can be noisy at night, sounded like something was banging against the side of the house and we could never find what it was, but it wasn’t unbearable. Great stay overall!
